FRESH TRACKS PT. 3 (featuring: Drug Money, Veltix, Bad Robotz!, Qarrell and more.)
Alright y'all, this segment is going to be EPIC. This go around we are going to be journeying through the many, many artists on the Midnight Voyage Stage. This is the biggest post yet... so enjoy the ride.
To kick things off we have Drug Money's latest FREE download, "Wake and Bake." Trapaholics, get your fix on this bangin, bass-heavy tune. I honestly wish this song would play every time I wake up... it would be the perfect start to a day.
Next on the roster is the latest banger from Veltix, a remix of Chronex's track "Leanin." Prepare to have the vicious, demonic, terrifying sounds of Veltix was over you like a tidal wave. This track is murder, so listen with caution.
Here's a deeeeep, dark and filthy collaboration from Qarrell and Juss B, a dutty remix of Tommy Gunz' track "Team Twerk." This one is for all the freaks, all the biddies that like to drop it low and work it. Get nasty.
Keeping with the hip hop theme of the past few tracks, let me introduce the newest Achromatic trap tune "Bustin At Em." You know Achromatic goes hard in tha paint.
Moving away from the trap music, here is a juicy piece of electro house for all you ravers out there. The latest track from LebZ, entitled "Sexualize," is sure to make booties shake at Home Grown. LebZ is for sure going to bring the hot and heavy...all you ladies get ready.
That's all for the original tracks, so let's move on to fresh mixes. Up first, tune your ears to the sounds of Bad Robotz! new mix "Toxic Radio Summer 2012." This genre-spanning, mind-melting, filthy fucking mix is making me really excited to finally see Bad Robotz! live... get ready to jump.
Continuing down the lineup, here is a SICK new mix from the Lost Nomad. "The Nomad Chronicles (pt. 1)" is chocked full of laser-bass, robotic evil, and 41 minutes of filthy, heavy goodness. I would hate to be one of the speakers on the Midnight Voyage stage during these dude's set... they gonna be killing them.
And now it's back to some more trap. The fresh new DJ Skarface mix, "Geeked Up Off Them Ackbars," already has me geeked up off some bass. Trap may be popular as hell now, but everyone does it differently...and this guy does it ESPECIALLY well. Panties gonna be dropping during this set...
Coming back to the nastier side of EDM, DJ SkekTek has put out a series of "Lion" mixes that range in style from drum & bass to electro house to pure, filthy dubstep. Here is my favorite, the "Green Lion" mix that is all head-smashing dubstep. Get up ninjas... this mix is gonna blow your speakers.
If you want groovy, hypnotic, and vibed-out drum & bass, then look no further... listen to the sounds of DJ Slinky's latest mix "Budwise." Drink deep from the liquid bass, this mix is both parts sexy and heavy. It's always refreshing to hear some funky dnb, especially when it's mixed this well.
Earlier in August, Bob Van Dub made an appearance at Rapture Production's Bass Face 14 (along with other Home Grown artists Subsurgence, BoltAction, and yours truly). Here are the first 10 minutes from Bob's set... it's like a quickie for your ears. Yummy.
Lastly, on the MUCH harder side of drum & bass, here is a fresh jungle mix from Rischaad. If your body isn't uncontrollably twerking and shaking within minutes then I'm a rat's ass. But I assure you, this mix is irresistible... so scratch that itch... the one that's telling you to DANCE!
FRESH TRACKS PT. 2 (featuring: Shredda, Tetsu, Negitive Feedback, GuTTa KicK, and MSTR RPTR)
Let's just get right into it, shall we?
Moving on from the Nebula Stage, here are some of the freshest releases from the Bounce House Stage crew.
First on the lineup, we've got Shredda's latest mini-mix, complete with some of his favorite choons from the plethora of dubstep released this summer. Heavy, filthy, infectious, and seamlessly mixed, this little morsel will be like candy for your ears. Salud.
Sticking with mixes, next up it's formerly-Knoxville-based-turned-Colorado-based couple Tetsu. Their latest mix takes a trip to the past when, instead of spinning dubstep, these two tore up parties playing some seriously mind-blowing, speaker-smashing dutch house. Oh yeah, and they're really friggin good at mixing this stuff. Enjoy.
The last mix of the segment is my freshest MSTR RPTR mix, "Je Pense A Toi." It's Luvstep, so not what I normally do. Regardless, everyone get sexxy.
In terms of original productions from artists at the Bounce House Stage, let's start with the most recent release. Memphis native, GuTTa KicK, dropped "RillO" on Wednesday. This 8-bit knocker trap tune sounds like an A$AP beat on a lot of acid...which is the perfect combination. We trippy mane.
And then there's the new OG tracks coming from Knoxville's own Negitive Feedback... and with a background in all sorts of fucking nasty drum & bass, you know these tunes are gonna be SICK.
Here is the latest of Negitive's work, even unmastered the track is heavier than hell. Get on your knees and pray.
Stay Tuned: Midnight Voyage Stage & Space Camp artists still to come!

FRESH TRACKS PT. 1 (featuring: Nerd Rage, Mantis, DJ Slink, Spankalicious, Mindelixir, Freq Mods, JMo, Curtis B, and Sir Ill)
Being that Home Grown is but a few days away, here is a massive compilation I have been putting together of all the latest tracks from most of the 2012 Home Grown artists.
Be sure to give them all a listen, you won't be disappointed with ANY of them. I guarantee it.
Let's kick it off with Freq Mods' newest track "HoMeGrown," and filthy, glitchy, funky banger with a perfectly selected sample. This track will make you nod your head so hard that you'll get a nosebleed. Peep the freshness.
Next up we got a vibed-out, smoke-session, maximum-chill reggae dub track from Sir Ill, entitled "HG Tribute Dub." This track would be perfect for the come-down after a long night of raging at Home Grown!
Earlier this summer Mindelixir released a preview of the upcoming "Why I'm Easy EP," and needless to say, this EP is definitely going to be just as groovy, intricate, and delicious as anything we've heard so far. Check it out!
Curtis B and KillNM released this super-heavy banger last week, entitled "Droppin Heavy," this track sure lives up to it's name! The synths are fat, the percussion and mastering are both superb, not to mention the well mixed vocal sample... peep this FILTHY track.
Because I love this track, I feel the need to post it. Glitch-hop aficionado JMo released this track, "dB Cooper," back at the beginning of 2012 and it still continues to wow me. There is some serious technical prowess here: complex percussion, layered synths and samples, and above all a GROOVY beat!
There ain't much new to say about Nerd Rage that everyone doesn't already know about this Ultragore, genre-blending, Bass God. Let the tracks do the talking. "Porn Stache," "Dork Fit," and "Nerd Rage Live @ # Fridays." Enjoy.
The same goes for metalstep warlords, Mantis... just listen to their new mix, recorded live on Bassface Radio, then you'll understand just how ri-fucking-diculous their set at Home Grown is going to be.
Here's a relatively new one from Spankalicious entitled "Moon Boots." This funky, grimey, trip-hop banger is sure to get your body moving. Dance your asses off, and listen to this.
And last, but certainly NOT least, we have an all-out-banger of a trap tune from DJ Slink...and it's a mutha-fuckin free download. This remix of Awolnation's "Sail," is one sexy, heavy trapped out tune. Making the best Certified Hood Classics. DJ Slink. Swag.

Subsurgence - Hellfire EP (Promo)
Earlier this summer I posted up Subsurgence's free EP "Karnival Killaz," which was one helluva massive EP on its own... but Subsurgence has outdone themselves with their newly released teaser for the upcoming "Hellfire EP." This four-track slice of filthy goodness shows just how far the duo's production prowess has come; each track is heavy, gritty, demonic, and heavily metal-inspired.
Don't sleep on this upcoming release, it's sure to be a MUST HAVE.
But until the release of "Hellfire," peep the teaser...

Mantis - Cell
Mantis dropped a fresh new clip on their Soundcloud yesterday entitled "Cell." This track (as the duo themselves describes) is definitely a bit different than anything else they've put out before. It isn't the typical head-smashing, gut-bustingly ridiculous filth...but rather it is a head-nodding, 100bpm track with HEAVY metal influence and an ethereal, hypnotic atmosphere that sounds foreboding and futuristic.
You definitely want to peep this piece of Mantis filth!

Veltix - Bacon Grease (VIP)
Hard-hitting maniac Veltix released a vicious clip of his new VIP of "Bacon Grease" (the original is available for FREE download at his soundcloud). The VIP is just as heavy, robotic, and speaker-smashing as you would expect from Veltix.
Peep the track Bass-Heads, and show Veltix some love!
Enjoy.

Veltix - Kush
Veltix dropped this massive clip earlier. "Kush" is everything you'd expect from Veltix: heavy, vicious, and face-warping. There is a wonderful Trolley Snatcha/ Funtcase synth in this monstrous song, that blends perfectly with Veltix's more well known gritty, robotic sound. This will definitely blow your freakin' mind, listen with caution.
Hopefully there will be more to come on this piece of filthy dubstep.
Enjoy.
